RESOLUTION NO. 2023-130
RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST OF MARIA RUBIO MORENO FOR A
GRADUATION EVENT, TO BE HELD AT HOPE MARTIN
PARK FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M., ON JUNE 3, 2023.
WHEREAS, Maria Rubio Moreno is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
June 3, 2023, to be held at Hope Martin Park from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., in conjunction with a
graduation event, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Maria Rubio Moreno, for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance, June 3, 2023, to be held at Hope Martin Park from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., in
conjunction a graduation event, be hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March 2023.
