0 0 RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY ECONOMIC BETTERMENT

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
desires to promote economic growth through the expansion of our
local businesses and the creation of new business opportunities,
and ...
WHEREAS, the CEBA program can help us encourage business
growth that would not happen without such support, and
WHEREAS, the CEBA program has already resulted in over $500
million invested into Iowa ' s economy and 17, 000 jobs promised by
Iowa businesses, and
WHEREAS, the State of Iowa and the City of Waterloo will
benefit from the continuation of the CEBA program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, supports the CEBA program and its efforts
to strengthen the State ' s economy.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1989 .
