WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 6th day of February, 1989 , for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Kenneth and Myrtle Kurtenbach to rezone from "A-I" Agricultural
District to "M-2 ,P" Planned Industrial District a parcel of land
generally located north of Independence Avenue in the 2700 block
and legally described as follows :

t A parcel of land located in Sections 20 and 21 , Township 89
North, Range 12 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
The SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 21-89-12 lying
n Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern Transportation Company
E right-of-way;
it And, also, the E 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12
lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern Transportation
Company right-of-way;
and, also, the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12
lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern Transportation
Company right-of-way;
and, also, the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said
Section 20-89-12 lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern
Transportation Company right-of-way;
and, also, the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said
Section 20-89-12 lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern
Transportation Company right-of-way;
and, also, the East 66 feet of the South 3/4 of the West 1/2
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12 ;
and, also, the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12 ,
excepting, therefrom, the South 50 feet and the East 31 . 5
rods and the West 320 feet of the East 839 . 75 feet of the
South 275 feet, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
