r- TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 6th day of February, 1989 , for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate
Colorado Street between Eighmey and Dewar Streets owned by the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally described as follows:
That portion of Colorado Street as platted in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, between the south line of
Eighmey Street to the north line of Dewar Street;
and to sell and convey to Marquart Block Company:
That portion of Colorado Street as platted in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, from the south line of
Eighmey Street to the north line of Dewar Street, except the
east one-half of said Colorado Street adjoining Lot 14 , Block
1, Cotton' s Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
for $1 , 897 . 50 , plus costs; and
to sell and convey to Pauline M. Cross:
The east one-half of Colorado Street adjoining Lot 14 , Block
1, Cotton' s Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
for $82 . 50 , plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1989 .
