TERMINAL AND WAREHOUSE, INC. AS FEBRUARY 27 , 1989 , AT C? 0 7: 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA w AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF tT' c r-; HEARING. ti BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: 00 . , Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa cc shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7: 00 p.m. on the 27th day of February, 1989 , for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate Arbor Street owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally described as follows : The Street conveyed to the City of Waterloo on July 3 , 1951 and known as Arbor Street extending from the northeasterly line of Commercial Street to a line 20 feet west of and parallel to the east line of Lots 34 and 35 in South Waterloo Addition, as recorded in Book 302 on pages 65 and 69, said street being 40 feet in width; and to sell and convey to Waterloo Lumber Company a portion of Arbor Street legally described as follows: The south and southeasterly one-half of the Street conveyed to the City of Waterloo on July 3 , 1951 and known as Arbor Street extending from the northeasterly line of Commercial Street to a line 20 feet west of and parallel to the east line of Lots 34 and 35 in South Waterloo Addition, as recorded in Book 302 on pages 65 and 69 , said street being 40 feet in width; all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; with the City' s retention of a permanent utility easement over, under and above the above describe parcel; for $737 . 00, plus costs; and to sell and convey to Iowa Terminal and Warehouse, Inc. a portion of Arbor Street, legally described as follows: The north and northwesterly one-half of the Street conveyed to the City of Waterloo on July 3 , 1951 and known as Arbor Street extending from the northeasterly line of Commercial Street to a line 20 feet west of and parallel to the east line of Lots 34 and 35 in South Waterloo Addition, as recorded in Book 302 on Pages 65 and 69 , said street being 40 feet in width; all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; with the City' s retention of a permanent utility easement over, under and above the above described parcel; for $737 . 00 , plus costs. Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
