RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE
GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF VIRGIL PLUM DBA INDUSTRIAL
STANDARD TOOLING, INC. TO REZONE FROM "C-2" COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT TO "M-1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT A PARCEL OF
LAND GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF WATER
STREET (UNIMPROVED STREET) BETWEEN EAST EIGHTH AND EAST
NINTH STREETS, AS FEBRUARY 27 , 1989 , AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING DEPUTY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 27th day of February, 1989 ,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Virgil Plum dba Industrial Standard Tooling, Inc. to rezone from
"C-2" Commercial District to "M-1" Light Industrial District a
parcel of land generally located along the northerly side of Water
Street (unimproved street) between East Eighth and East Ninth
Streets and legally described as follows:
Original Plat Waterloo East Lot 7 Block 21 Lot 9 Block 21 Lot
10 Block 21 also NEly 6 feet Water Street adjacent on SW of
Lots 9 and 10 and the NWly 1 foot of East 9th Street adjacent
to Lot 9 on SE in Block 21, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
