I " BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
m AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 13th day of March, 1989 , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey the north 30 feet of East San Marnan Drive right-of-way
adjoining Lot 3 , Southbrooke Second Addition owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, to Tuve Investments , Inc. , and legally described
as follows :
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 2 of Southbrooke
Second Addition, thence south along the extended easterly
line of said Lot 2 a distance of 30 feet; thence westerly
along a line 30 feet south of and parallel to the southerly
line of said Lot 2 a distance of 110 feet; thence northerly a
distance of 30 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 2;
thence easterly to the point of beginning, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
with the City' s retention of a permanent utility easement over,
under and above the above described parcel;
for $4 , 950 . 00 , plus costs .
Section 2 . That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of February, 1989 .
