RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE LONG RANGE LAND
USE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission has
proposed amendments to the Long Range Land Use Plan, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 27, 1989 at
7 : 00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to amend said Long Range Land Use Plan, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said
amendments to the Long Range Land Use Plan should be approved as
proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that amendments to the Long Range Land Use
Plan for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same hereby
approved as follows:
1 . The area bounded by East Seventh Street,
Street, East Eleventh Street and Water Street Sycamore
designated future industrial rather than medium to high
density residential.
2 . The area bounded by East Seventh Street,
Street, East Eleventh Street and a line 120 feet
northerly of and parallel to Sycamore Street be
designated future general commercial, rather than medium
to high density residential.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of February, 1989.
