BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 10th day of April, 1989 , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey a
portion of property generally located on the west side of
Cleveland Street between University Avenue and Janney Avenue owned
by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to Lockard Development, Inc. , and
legally described as follows:

• All that part of Lot No. Eighteen ( 18 ) in Block Seventeen

( 17) , Hagerman Place, in Waterloo, in Black Hawk County,

Iowa, described as follows :
to .µ, Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of said Lot No.
6 18 , which point is 33 feet westerly of the Northeasterly
corner of said Lot No. 18 ; thence southerly along a line
which is 33 feet westerly of and parallel with the easterly
line of said Block No. 17 to a point on the Southerly line of
said Lot No. 18 , which point is 33 feet westerly of the
Southeasterly corner of said Lot No. 18 ; thence westerly to
the Southwesterly corner of said Lot No. 18 ; thence northerly
to the Northwesterly corner of said Lot No. 18 ; thence
easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot No. 18 to the
point of beginning.
Containing approximately 3 , 680 square feet;
for $6 , 250. 00 , plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
