RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF BUILDING MORATORIUM
ALONG THE INTERSTATE SUBSTITUTION CORRIDORS FROM MAY 7,
1989 TO AUGUST 7, 198 .
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is, and has been, in the
process of the planning and construction of certain roadways
within the city limits of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which
roadways are commonly known as the Interstate Substitution
Corridors; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, upon the request of the
Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission, passed Ordinance No.
3596 declaring a six month building moratorium along said
Interstate Substitution Corridors, which period may be extended
for only one increment of three ( 3) months upon a request made to
the City Council by the Planning, Programming and Zoning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission is
desirous to extend said building moratorium along the Interstate
Substitution Corridors from May 7, 1989 to August 7 , 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that said three month extension on the
building moratorium along the Interstate Substitution Corridors,
be and is hereby extended from May 7, 1989 to August 7, 1989.

that the Appraisal Contract dated May 1, 1989, in conjunction
with Ansborough Avenue, IX-6615( 5) --79-07, by and between
Appraisal Associates of Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor authorized
to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.

• BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the License Agreement dated May 1, 1989, for use of
cd right-of-way for a sixty ( 60) inch storm sewer by and between
Chicago and North Western Transportation Company and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
