WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa has
c adopted an Ordinance embargoing truck traffic on Rainbow Drive
( from Ansborough Avenue to Greenhill Road, known as Section 569 of
Ordinance No. 2664, as amended, Traffic Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, Irving F. Jensen Construction Company and Winnebago
Constructors, Inc. have requested a variance to said Ordinance
for the purpose of haul routes during construction of Relocated
U. S. 218 , IX-218-7 (70) --3P-07 , on Rainbow Drive from Ansborough
Avenue to Greenhill Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a variance to Section 569, of
Ordinance No. 2644, as amended, Traffic Ordinance, be granted to
Irving F. Jensen Construction Company and Winnebago Constructors,
Inc. , as requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 1989.
