DRIVES, ROADS, BOULEVARDS AND ALLEYS, ETC. , OR PORTIONS n rr ; THEREOF HEREIN DESCRIBED BY OILING THE SAME IN THE CITY n 0r OF WATERLOO, IOWA. d BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, ON PETITIONS AND ON COUNCIL' S OWN MOTION, that it is deemed necessary and advisable that the following streets, avenues, drives, roads, boulevards and alleys, etc. , or portions thereof, ' be improved by oiling the same: (.0 DeWitt Road from W. Ridgeway Avenue to South Parking Lot of Supervisor ' s Club; 500 Adrian Street from Schultz Street to Dearborn Street; 1300 Holstein Place from Charolais Drive to Angus Drive; 100-200 St. John Avenue from West Parker Street North 400 ' ; Hn 1800 Liberty Avenue from Ohio Street to Wisconsin Street; 100 Lowder Road from Logan Avenue to East to Dead End; 400 Shirley Street from Idaho Street to Clearview Street; r 500 Shirley Street from Clearview Street to City View Street; 600 Shirley Street from City View Street to Plain View Street; E-+ 700 Shirley Street from Plain View Street to Spring View Street; 500 Leonard Avenue from West Parker Street to North 400 ' ; Alley between Hartman Avenue and Janney Avenue from Magnolia F Parkway to Wallgate Avenue; Alley between West Mullan Avenue and West Wellington Street from Belmont Avenue to Oaklawn Avenue; Alley between Grant Street and Leavitt Street from Randolph Street to Hammond Avenue. The cost and expense of making said improvement will be assessed as provided by law, as a special tax against all property abutting upon the streets, avenues, drives, roads, boulevards and alleys so improved. That said work shall be done by the Superintendent of Street Department of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, under the direction of the City Engineer and the Public Works Committee of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and an accurate itemized account of all the costs and expenses thereof shall be kept and a report of the same made to this Council upon the completion of said work. That unless property owners at the time of the final consideration of this resolution have on file with the City Clerk written objections on the proposed improvements they shall be deemed to have waived all objections thereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the foregoing improvement of said streets, avenues, drives, roads , boulevards and alleys, etc. , by oiling, hereby proposed to be made and this resolution, be, and the same are hereby, set down for further hearing, consideration and determination and passage at a meeting of the City Council to be held on the 5th day of June, 1989 , at 7 : 00 P.M. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in said City and that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to cause notice of the time and place when this resolution will be considered for passage and objections to the passage thereof and to the construction of said improvements heard, to be given by publication in the Waterloo Courier, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in a manner and for the time provided by law.
