BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
m AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 12th day of June, 1989, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey property generally lying east of Ansborough Avenue and
approximately 150 feet north of Falls Avenue owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, to Tom Mclntee, and legally described as follows:
Part of Lots 227 , 228 , 229 and Part of the southerly half of
the vacated east-west alley that adjoins Lot 228 and also
adjoins the westerly 30 feet in even width of Lot 229 , all in
m the First Addition to Galloway in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
• n : more particularly described as follows:

• Beginning at a point on the southerly line of said Lot 227
u which is 35 feet normally distant easterly of the westerly
; line of said Lot 227; thence northwesterly a distance of
j 71. 08 feet to a point which is 30 feet normally distant
easterly of the westerly line of said Lot 227 ; thence north
along a line which is parallel with the westerly line of said
Lot 227 a distance of 39 . 10 feet; thence northeasterly a
distance of 32 . 19 feet to a point on the north line of the
south half of said vacated alley which is 35 feet normally
distant easterly of the northerly extension of the westerly
line of said Lot 227; thence south a distance of 141. 8 feet
to the point of beginning.
Containing approximately 452 s.f. ;
for $1, 080. 00, plus costs.
Section 2. That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
