RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING MORATORIUM
ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR J.E. MILLETT CO. ,
400 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK
HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, J. E. Millett Co. , 400 Ansborough Avenue, has
requested a waiver of the building moratorium on Relocated Highway
218 Corridor to construct exterior improvements to existing
facility on the west side of Ansborough Avenue and the south side
of Maynard Street, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 12th day of June,
1989, at 7 : 00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa,
as provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
on the request to approve the above mentioned request; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said waiver
of moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor be approved as
requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the moratorium on
Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, as requested by J.E. Millett Co. ,
400 Ansborough Avenue, for exterior improvements to existing
facility on the west side of Ansborough Avenue and the south side
of Maynard Street be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording in order that this said
action may become a matter of official County Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 1989.
