WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, filed a Statement of
Needs with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
for funding under Title I of the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974 , as amended.
WHEREAS, said Statement has been approved by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the Housing and Community Development Block Grant Contract
No. B-89-MC-19-0008 in three counterparts on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, and to forward said counterparts to the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of June, 1989 .
