RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING MORATORIUM
ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR CREATIVE IMPACTS,
520 LAPORTE ROAD, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Creative Impacts, 520 LaPorte Road, has requested a
waiver of the building moratorium on Relocated Highway 218
Corridor to place balloon sign advertising at various locations
for a maximum of ten ( 10 ) days; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 26, 1989, at 7 : 00
p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the request to approve the above mentioned request; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said waiver
of moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor be approved as
requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the moratorium on
Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, as requested by Creative Impacts,
520 LaPorte Road, to place balloon sign advertising at various
locations for a maximum of ten ( 10) days be and the same is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk
County Recorder for recording in order that this said action may
become a matter of official County Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of June, 1989.
