HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-350-07.17.1989 RESOLUTION NO. 1989-350 RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING MORATORIUM ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR BIG TEN MART, 127 JEFFERSON STREET, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. WHEREAS, Big Ten Mart, 127 Jefferson Street, has requested a waiver of the building moratorium of Relocated Highway 218 Corridor to reconstruct the easterly portion of their property; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 17, 1989, at 7: 00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the request to approve the above mentioned request; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said waiver of moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor be approved as requested. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, as requested by Big Ten Mart, 127 Jefferson Street, to reconstruct the easterly portion of their property, be and the same is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Deputy City Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording in order that this said action may become a matter of official County Record.
