RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION
CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,
and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels
is necessary to carry out the Ansborouoh-Greenhill Bikeway
Pro-iect, TX-6585( 9) --79-07.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO. IOWA, that the contract for the
hereinafter described parcels
to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
ToT'.,R , all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
neputy City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same
in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the
owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are
also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to
pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to
the consummation of the sales from City funds.
The subject parcels are:
Parcel No. 1 -- Partial Acquisition

All that part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4,
Section 28 , Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian. Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North right-of-way line of
Huntington Road which point is 105. 00 feet East of the West
line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said
Section 28 and 33. 00 feet North of the South line of the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1 /4 of said Section 28; thence
North 110_ 00 feet along a line that is 105. 00 feet East of
and parallel with the west line of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of said Section 28; thence West 30. 00 feet
along a line that is 143. 00 feet North of and parallel with
the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of
said Section 28; thence North 775. 00 feet along a line that
is 75. 00 feet East of and parallel with the West line of the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 28; thence
Southeasterly 51.40 feet to a point which is 100. 00 feet East
of the West line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of
said Section 28 and 873. 00 feet North of the South line of
the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 28 ;
thence South 660, 00 feet along a line that is 100. 00 feet
East of and parallel with the West line of the Southwest 1/4
of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 28; thence Southerly to
A point which is 115. 00 feet East of the West line of the
