y+ NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION OF SIDEWALKS LOCATED
s n IN THE VICINITY OF BROADWAY AND PARKER AND CONGER AND
r c^ 0 REED STREETS AS AUGUST 14 , 1989, AT 7: 00 P.M. IN CITY
J ` HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING
_ THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 14th day of August, 1989 , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate sidewalks
located in the vicinity of Broadway and Parker and Conger and Reed
Streets owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally described
as follows:
96 ' of sidewalk along the northeasterly side of Broadway
Street (Highway 57) extending northwesterly of Parker Street,
174 ' of sidewalk along the northeasterly side of Broadway and
extending northeasterly to the CC & P R.R. crossing at David
Street, continuing 64 . 5 ' north of the crossing along the west
side of David Street, and 348 ' of sidewalks along the north
and south sides of Riehl Street, between Lincoln Street and
Reed Street, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 1989.
