n RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1988-98 AUTHORIZING

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
o adopted Resolution No. 1988-98 , authorizing the sale and
o conveyance of the lot acent to
their existing facilitylatt 310-312c East Sixth Streetandated north of todj the First

Judicial District Department of Correctional Services; and

, WHEREAS, said Resolution contained a reversionary clause
stipulating that in the event said property was not developed
within one year the City of Waterloo could buy back said property
for the original price; and

WHEREAS, the First Judicial District Department of
Correctional Services has requested an extension of time to August
al, 1990 to commence development on said property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that Resolution No. 1988-98 be amended to extend
the time to August 1 , 1990 to commence development of the parking
lot north of and adjacent to the First Judicial District
Department of Correctional Services existing facility located at
310-312 East Sixth Street be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 1989 .
