4, E, E- BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
x as follows:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 28th day of August, 1989, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey a portion of property lying on the north side of Locke
tic-) Street, west of Texas Street, owned by the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, to Dave Hershberger, and legally described as follows:
The east fifty ( 50) feet of Lot 4, Garden Place Addition,

Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $927 . 00 , plus cost;
with the City' s retention of a permanent utility easement over,
i under and above the above described property.
Section 2 . That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of August, 1989.
