� �o RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING MORATORIUM
C ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR JOHN DEERE, IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.

9) k C WHEREAS, John Deere, has requested a waiver of the building
ti moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor to construct a
gatehouse 300 feet off of Westfield Avenue and Cleveland Avenue,
H. and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 21, 1989, at
M 7: 00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
( the request to approve the above mentioned request; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said waiverof building moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor be
approved, as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the building
moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, for
John Deere, to construct a gatehouse 300 feet off of Westfield
' Avenue and Cleveland Avenue, be and the same is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk
County Recorder for recording in order that this said action may
become a matter of official County Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of August, 1989.
