RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING MORATORIUM
ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR PRAIRIE
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, 321 WEST 18TH STREET, IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Prairie Construction Company, 321 West 18th Street,
has requested a waiver of the building moratorium on Relocated
Highway 218 Corridor to rebuild a building and construct an
addition to an existing building and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 21, 1989, at
7: 00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the request to approve the above mentioned request; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said waiver
of building moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor be
approved, as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the building
moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, for
Prairie Construction Company, 321 West 18th Street, to rebuild a
building and construct an addition to existing building, be and
the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk
County Recorder for recording in order that this said action may
become a matter of official County Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of August, 1989.
