RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION
CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,

WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described
parcels is necessary to carry out the Sixth Street Extension,

E,, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
0 CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcels
n E-. hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
r- Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
y � Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
Hi---; City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in
behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
1 consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the
owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are
H ` also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed
w to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary
E-! to the consummation of the sales from City funds.

Total Take - $12, 500. 00
The northeasterly thirty-five ( 35) feet of Lot No. Ten ( 10)
and the southeasterly ten ( 10) feet of the northeasterly
thirty-five ( 35) feet of Lot No. Nine ( 9) in Block No.
Eighteen ( 18) in DOE' s Addition in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Containing approximately 2,450 S.F.
Parcel No. 823
Ruby G. Knode, 823 Kimball Avenue
Total Take - $38,000.00
Lot No. Twelve ( 12) in Block No. One ( 1) in Brown-Hall
Addition, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Containing approximately 5,116 S.F.
