snn RESOLUTION GRANTING APPLICATION OF UP-DOWNTOWNERS FOR
H VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094.
a WHEREAS, the Up-downtowners are planning a special Saturday
C' Night Event on August 26, 1989, from 5: 00 p.m. to 11: 00 p.m. on

`_, may WHEREAS, said special Saturday Night Event will feature

n n amplified sound at the following locations:
H o KCFI - located at Lincoln Park
H KOEL - located at National Bank Park
H KNWS - located at Paramount Park
r- N KFMW - located at Holiday Inn--4th Street area
r KOKZ - located at Lafayette Green

WHEREAS, the Up-downtowners have made formal application for
ti -) a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, to allow for
s amplified sound at said locations on August 26, 1989, from 5: 00

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Up-downtowners
for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, be and the
same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of August, 1989.
