_ WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 9th day of October, 1989 , for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Lockard Development, Inc. to rezone from "R-2" One and Two Family
Residence District to "C-2" Commercial District a parcel of land
generally located between Fletcher ( formerly Cleveland Street)
and Howrey Avenues, south of Janney Avenue and legally described
as follows:
E- Hagerman Place, Lots 1 2 3 4 5 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20,
f' C Block 17, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 1989.
