RESOLUTION NO. 1989-564
RESOLUTION DEDICATING FOR STREET PURPOSES THE EASTERLY
LINE OF U.S. HIGHWAY 63 EASTERLY A DISTANCE OF
APPROXIMATELY 519 FEET TO BE KNOWN AS RANCHERO ROAD AND
APPROXIMATEI..Y 419 FEET GOING IN A NORTHEASTERLY
DIRECTION TO BE KNOWN AS K-LINE DRIVE AS PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY AND ACCEPTING THE DEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the easterly line of U.S. Highway 63 easterly a
distance of approximately 519 feet to be known as Ranchero Road
and approximately 419 feet going in a northeasterly direction to
be known as K-Line Drive, be and the same is hereby dedicated as
public right-of-way for street purposes and accepting the deed,
legally described as follows:
That part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of Section Seven
(7) , Township Eighty-eight North (T88N) , Range Thirteen West
(R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the East line of said Northwest
Quarter (NW 1/4 ) which is Two Hundred Fifty-eight ( 258 . 0 )
feet South of the Northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4 ) ; thence S72 55 ' 15"W Two Hundred Twelve and
Sixty-four Hundredths ( 212. 64 ) feet along the Southeasterly
right of way line of U.S. Highway No. 63 (previously
described by Iowa D.O. T. as 212 . 3 feet ) ; thence S35 10 ' 25"W
along said right of way Eight Hundred Forty-three and
Thirty-five Hundredths ( 843 . 35) feet to the Northeasterly
line of that easement acquired by the Iowa D.O.T. as
recorded in L.D. 539 at page 538 and Affidavit book 56 at
page 198 , Black Hawk County Recorder' s Office, and point of
beginning; thence S55 10 ' 50"E along said Northeasterly line
Four Hundred Sixty-four ( 464 . 0 ) feet ; thence N79 57 ' 40"E
Seventy and Eighty-nine Hundredths ( 70. 89) feet; thence
N35 06 ' 15"E Three Hundred Ninety and Ninety-seven ( 390. 97 )
feet; thence Northeasterly Twenty-eight and Eleven
Hundredths ( 28. 11 ) feet along a Two Hundred Thirty-four and
Seventy-four Hundredths (234 . 74 ) foot radius curve, concave
Southerly, with a chord of Twenty-eight and Nine Hundredths
( 28 . 09 ) feet which bears N38 32 ' 00"E to a point on the East
line said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) which is Mine Hundred .
Twenty and Sixty-nine Hundredths. (920.,69) feet South of
the r1or.theast corner of said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) ;
thence SO 20 ' 20"E along said East line One Hundred and
Fifty-seven Hundredths (100. 57 ) feet ; thence S35 06 ' 15"W
Four Hundred Forty-six and Sixty-eight Hundredths ( 446. 68 )
feet; thence N55 10 ' 50"W Five Hundred Seventy-four and Nine
Hundredths ( 574 . 09 ) feet to the Southeasterly line of U.S.
Highway No. 63 ; thence N35 10 ' 25"E Sixty ( 60. 0) feet to the
point of beginning, containing 61 , 410 S.F.
