RESOLUTION DEDICATING MAYNARD AVENUE APPROXIMATELY 100
FEET EAST OF ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AS PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
FOR STREET PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the following legally described property be and the
same is hereby dedicated as public right-of-way for street
purposes:
Commencing at the SW Corner of Lot 8 , Harry Hummels
Subdivision of Lot "C" , City of Waterloo, Iowa; thence
S89°212 'W, 10. 0 feet to a point on the west line of the east
10 feet of said Lot "B" ; thence N01°372 ' E, 154. 5 feet along
the west line of the east 10 feet of said Lot "B" , to the
Point of Beginning; thence N63°54 'W, 106. 8 feet; thence
S74°391 'W, 9. 2 feet; thence N01°372 'E, 24. 8 feet along the
east line of the west 11 feet of said lot "B" ; thence
S54°341 'E, 28. 7 feet along the existing southerly right of
way line of Maynard Avenue; thence continuing along said
line 94 . 1 feet along a 575. 9 foot radius curve, concave
northerly and having a chord bearing S59°15 'E, 94 . 0 feet;
thence S01°372 'W, 4 . 7 feet along the west line of the east
10 feet of said Lot "B" to the Point of Beginning;
containing 1007 square feet, more or less, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of October, 1989.
