RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE
- GIVEN-- ON REQUEST OF ROCK ISLAND MILL WORKS, 2125
- WESTFIELD AVENUE, FOR A WAIVER OF THE BUILDING
MORATORIUM ON RELOCATED U.S. 218 CORRIDOR AS DECEMBER

HALL. AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
WaterloO, - Iowa at 7: 00 p.m. on the 4th day of December, 1989,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request of
Rock Island. lili Works for a waiver of the building moratorium on
Relocated U.S. 218 Corridor to construct an addition to property
located at 2125 Westfield Avenue, legally described as follows:
Upplattp0aterloo West a parcel of land in the S 1/2 NW 1/4
Sec 22 T 89 R 13 commencing at a point perpendicular to and
40 feet ofapoint on the NELY line of ROW of C R I & P
RR Which is 1348 . 7 feet NWLY from intersection of ROW with E
line 'ofAi 1/2 of said Sec; thence NWLY parallel with RR 200
feet; thence NELY at right angle 575 feet; thence due E to a
point 3a. „feet WLY from centerline of WCF&N RR; thence S and
SWLY parallel to WCF&N RR main line to point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, TOWX,' that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
