RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE
GIVEN ON REQUEST OF MICHELIN TIRE, 2084 HOWARD STREET,
FOR A WAIVER OF THE BUILDING MORATORIUM ON RELOCATED
U.S.. 218 CORRIDOR AS DECEMBER 4, 1989, AT 7: 00 P.M. IN
THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 4th day of December, 1989,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request of
Michelin Tire for a waiver of the building moratorium on
Relocated ' U. S. 218 Corridor to construct two additions to
property located at 2084 Howard Street, including the landscape
screening, tire screening and hard surface areas, legally
described as follows:
Garden: Place Addition, Waterloo, All of Lot 24 except
beginning at a point on North line Lot 24 that is 60 feet
East of .Northwest corner said Lot; thence South parallel
with West line said Lot 135 feet; thence South 43 Degrees 43
1/2 Minutes East to East line said lot; thence South along
East line said Lot to Southeast corner; thence West along
South line of Lot 24 to Southwest corner Lot 24; thence
North along West line lot 24 to Northwest corner; thence
East along North line to point of beginning, and also
Garden Place Addition, Waterloo, Lot 25 except beginning at
a point on South line Lot 25 that is 79. 6 feet West of
Southeast corner Lot 25; thence North 43 degrees 43 1/2
minutes West to West line Lot 25; thence South along West
line Lot 25 to Southwest corner Lot 25; thence East along
South line Lot 25 to the point of beginning, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY- THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
