RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE
o r GIVEN, ON APPLICATION OF BROCK, INC- TO REZONE FROM
"U!-1" UNCLASSIFIED DISTRICT TO "ff2,P" PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED
• NORTH OF RIDGEWAY AVENUE AND WEST OF MARTIN ROAD, AS
DECEMBER 11 , 1989, AT 7: 00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS
- IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF

HO HEARING.

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 11th day of December, 1989,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Brock, Inc. to rezone from "U-1" Unclassified District to "M-2 ,P"
Planned Industrial District a parcel of land generally located
north of Ridgeway Avenue and west of Martin Road and legally
described As follows:
Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 except the easterly 330
feet of Section 32, Township 89, Range 13 , and Part of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32 , Township
89, Range 13 beginning at the Southwest corner of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said section; thence
easterly 990 feet; thence northerly 675 feet along part of
the East line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of
said section; thence southwesterly to point of beginning,
and Part of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32, Township 89,
Range 13 beginning at a point 420 feet south of the
Northeast Corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4
of said section; thence southerly to the Southeast corner of
the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said section;
thence westerly 330 feet; thence northerly 1, 995 feet;
thence northeasterly to point of beginning except commencing
at a point on the East line of Section 32 which is 1, 180.5
feet north of the Southeast corner of said section; thence
westerly 200 feet; thence northerly 200 feet; thence
easterly 200 feet; thence southerly 200 feet to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE, COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier,
