RESOLUTION APPROVING DETOUR AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Detour Agreement dated November 20, 1989, for the Iowa
Department of Transportation to use City streets as a detour for
_ U.S. Highway 218 traffic in conjunction with Relocated U.S. 218 ,
IX-218-7 ( 63 ) --3P-07 for U.S. Highway 218 traffic to be detoured
onto U.S. Highway 20 at the interchange of Interstate 380 and
U.S. Highway 218 to U.S. Highway 63, from Highway 63 to
Ansborough Avenue, then on Ansborough Avenue to University
Avenue, then to Greenhill Road, then to the newly constructed
portion of Relocated U.S. Highway 218 by the Airport, by and
between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1989.
