RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF THE BUILDING
MORATORIUM ON RELOCATED HIGHWAY 218 CORRIDOR FOR
MICHELIN TIRE, 2084 HOWARD STREET, IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Michelin Tire, has requested a waiver of the
building moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor to
construct two additions to property located at 2084 Howard
Street, and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 4, 1989,
at 7: 00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo,
Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the request to approve the above
mentioned request, legally described as follows:
GARDEN PLACE ADDITION, WATERLOO, ALL LOT 24 EXC BEG AT
A PT ON N LINE LOT 24 THAT IS 60 ' E OF NW COR SAID LOT
TH S PAR WITH W LINE SAID LOT 135 ' TH S 43 DEG 43 1/2

LOT 25 TO SW COR LOT 25 TH E ALONG S LINE LOT 25 TO THE
PT OF BEG, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the waiver to the building
moratorium on Relocated Highway 218 Corridor, for Michelin
Tire, to construct two additions to property located at 2084
Howard Street, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution
to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording in order
that this said action may become a matter of official County
Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of December, 1989.
