Ft-1) r7 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
- NOTICE TO BE GIVEN TO REDUCE THE PLATTED BUILDING LINE
FROM 75 FEET TO 58 FEET ON TRACTS J AND K IN CEDAR
CREST ADDITION ALONG LA PORTE ROAD AS JANUARY 2, 1990 ,
AT 7: 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO,
'c'oL IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
, - NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 2nd day of January, 1990 , for the
purpose of reducing the platted building line from 75 feet to 58
feet on Tracts J and K in Cedar Crest Addition along La Porte
Road to allow Bertch Cabinet Mfg. to construct a storage
structure, and legally described as follows:
A part of Tract K, Cedar Crest, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa described as follows:
Commencing at the most Westerly corner of said Tract K;
thence N 54°2000" E along the Northwesterly line of said
Tract K a distance of 75. 00 feet; thence S 35°40 ' 00" E
parallel with the Southwesterly line of said Tract K a
distance of 149. 00 feet to the point of beginning; thence
continuing S 35°4000" E a distance of 30 . 67 feet; thence S
54°20 ' 00" W a distance of 16. 84 feet; thence N 35°40 ' 00" W a
distance of 30. 67 feet; thence N 54°20 ' 00" E a distance of
16. 84 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
The Southwesterly line of said Tract K is assumed to bear S
35°40 ' 00" E.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
