CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 8th day of January, 1990, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to transfer
real property parallel with the abandoned I .N.R.C. railroad from
just northwesterly of Upton Avenue to the west line of Fletcher
Avenue ( formerly Cleveland Street) , and legally described as
follows:
The SWerly 50 ' in even width of the vacated CRI&P Railway
lying NEerly of and adj . to Main St. from the W line of
Fletcher Ave. (formerly Cleveland Street) to the south line
of Lot 27 , Hostetler ' s Add. extended easterly, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 1989.
