RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION
CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,
and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described
parcels are necessary to carry out the Greenhill/Sager
Construction Project, IX-6560( 2) --79-07.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcels
hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in
behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the
owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are
also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed
to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary
to the consummation of the sales from City funds.
The subject parcels are:
Steven J. and Kelly Horstman

Partial Acquisition - $3,000. 00
All that part of Lot W-34, Cedarloo Park, Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, lying within the following described
boundary:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot W-34; thence
West along the south line of said Lot W-34 a distance of
72 . 00 feet; thence Northeasterly to a point on the East line
of said Lot W-34, which point is 12 . 00 feet North of the
Southeast corner of said Lot W-34;, thence south to the point
of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
Containing approximately 432 square feet.
