x RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF
H H 'ADUPLEX LOCATED AT 1027-1029 PROGRESS AVENUE TO STEVE

MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A DEED FOR

,_.., WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of the
duplex located at 1027-1029 Progress Avenue in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, intends to sell and
convey said structure and cause it to be removed from the site in
accordance with the guidelines and stipulations set forth in the
bid proposal form, and
4REREAS, an offer to purchase said duplex located at
1027-1029 Progress Avenue in the sum of $2 , 000. 00 , plus costs ,
has been made by Steve Clabby, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and
conveyance should be made as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows:
1 . That the following described structure as described in
the published notice in the Waterloo Courier on August 1 , 1990
and August 6, 1990, is not presently needed and will not be
needed in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes and its
ownership is serving no municipal purpose, and
2 . That the offer of Steve Clabby to purchase structure
located at 1027-1029 Progress Avenue for the sum of $2 , 000. 00 and
costs be, and it is hereby accepted for property described below:
2 bedrooms each unit, ranch style wood frame.
3 . That the City of Waterloo, Iowa, convey said structure
to Steve Clabby by Bill of Sale.
4 . That the Planning, Programming and Zoning staff is
authorized and directed to deliver said Bill of Sale to Steve
Clabby upon receipt of the sum of $2 , 000 . 00, and costs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, 1990.
