WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 8th day of October, 1990, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
POS/LDI Partnership to rezone from "M-2,P" Planned Industrial
District to "M-1"' Light Industrial District a parcel of land
generally located .east of Burton Avenue approximately 500 feet
south of Airline Highway and legally described as follows:

A part of the South Eighty ( 80) acres of the West One
Hundred ( 100) acres of the Northwest Quarter of Section
Eleven (11) , Township Eight-nine (89) North, Range
Thirteen ( 13 ) West of the Fifth ( 5th) Principal
Meridian, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northwest
Quarter ; thence South 0°00' 00" East for Five Hundred,
Twenty-Three and Four Tenths ( 523 . 40) feet along the
West line of said Northwest Quarter to the Point of
Beginning; thence North 89°35 ' 24" East for Fifty
( 50 . 00) feet to the East line of Burton Avenue; thence
continuing ' North 89°35' 24" East for One-Thousand,
One-hundred, Seventeen and Twenty Hundredths ( 1,117 . 20)
feet along the South Line of Gronberg Addition; thence
South 00°00 ' 59" East for One-Thousand, Two-Hundred, Six
and Twenty Hundredths ( 1 ,206 . 20) feet; thence South
89°36' 05" West for Two-Hundred, Ninety-One ( 291) feet
to the Southwesterly line of the Legal description in
Waterloo City Ordinance No. 3135; thence North 0°00 ' 00"

Southwesterly line; thence North 89°48 ' 12" West for
Two-Hundred, Eighty-One and Sixteen Hundredths ( 281 .16)

Five-Hundred, Ninety-Five ( 595) feet to said West Line
of Northwest Quarter; thence North 0°00' 00" West along
said West Line for Two-Hundred, Sixty-Five ( 265) feet
to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
