BASE BID OF $32 , 519. 86 PLUS ALTERNATE 1 IN THE AMOUNT
OF $14 , 055. 60.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the base bid of Borwig Building Services of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the amount of $32,519 . 86 plus alternate 1 in the amount
of $ L4,055 . 60, for the construction of the Waterloo, Iowa, F.Y.
19'91 ' Sidewalk Repair Block Grant Program--Zone 2 , Contract No.
398, described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted
by this Council for said project, after public hearing on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The,IMayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
