SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE OF YARD WASTE BAGS IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.

WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is implementing
the separate collection and composting of yard waste, and

WHEREAS, residents desiring the City to collect their
_1, leaves, grass clippings and other yard waste will be
cd required to use two-ply paper bags marketed to retailers

through Goodwill Industries, and
7': 1 WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has requested that
said two-ply paper bags be priced at $1 . 10 for wholesale
price and a suggested retail priced of $1. 25 including taxes
for use of collection of leaves, grass clippings and other
yard waste.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the price of two-ply
paper bags for use of collection of leaves, grass clippings
and other yard waste be established as $1. 10 for wholesale
and $1 . 25 including taxes for suggested retail, be and the
same hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of August, 1990.
