nj RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PREPARATION AND
H H HH SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR RENTAL
REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE TO THE STATE OF IOWA FOR
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE UNITED

'--I P. ' ' WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo desires to use the Rental
Rehabilitation Program which was enacted into law in
Section 201 of the Housing and Urban-Rural Recovery Act of
1983 and,
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is committed to the
Rental Rehabilitation Program and assures that
Administrative expenses will be born by the City Community
Development Board, and
WHEREAS, the Rental Rehabilitation Program sets forth a
program for Waterloo to use, and provides funds for such
programs to assist property owners and tenants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the application for
assistance under Section 17, of the United States Housing
Act of 1937 is hereby approved, and that the Mayor Pro Tem
is hereby authorized to execute the appropriate forms and
forward the Application to the State of Iowa, Department of
Economic Development for their review and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 1990.
