RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
KOMLINE-SANDERSON FOR BELT FILTER PRESSES FOR THE WATER
2 - POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT SLUDGE DEWATERING IMPROVEMENTS,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $313, 800. 00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Komline-Sanderson, in the amount of
$313,800. 00, for the supplying of the Waterloo, Iowa, Belt Filter
Presses for the Water Pollution Control Plant Sludge Dewatering
Improvements described in the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project, after public hearing on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and Deputy City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for supplying said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1990.
