RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN
PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE SIXTH STREET
EXTENSION (WEST SEGMENT) , IX-6604 ( 3) --79-07.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has undertaken the
Sixth Street Extension (West Segment) , IX-6604( 3 ) --79-07,
and the parcels of land hereinafter described have been
appraised and offers made to the owners of said property in
the amount of the appraised value and said offers have been
refused, and
WHEREAS, the acquisition, by either Fee Simply Title or
Temporary Easement of the hereinafter described real
property is necessary in conjunction with the Sixth Street
Extension (West Segment) , IX-6604( 3) --79-07.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the following described
parcels of real property be acquired by condemnation in the
manner provided by law, and such other further action as may
be necessary to effect acquisition.

Partial Acquisition
Part of Lot 4 in Block 5 in Miller' s Addition to
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly line of Grant
Avenue ( formerly Barnes Street) which is 30 . 00 feet
Northwesterly of the most Southerly corner of said Lot
4; thence continuing Northwesterly along the
Northeasterly line of Grant Street a distance of 30. 00
