RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION OF STREET
RIGHT-OF-WAY GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN WASHINGTON AND
BLUFF STREETS, PORTIONS OF BLUFF STREET BETWEEN WEST
MULLAN AVENUE AND WEST FIRST STREET AND BETWEEN WEST
FIRST AND WEST SECOND STREETS AS JULY 2 , 1990, AT 7: 00
P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF
HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 2nd day of July, 1990, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate street
right-of-way generally located between Washington and Bluff
Streets, portions of Bluff Street between West Mullan Avenue and
West First Street and between West First and West Second
Streets owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally
described as follows:
Falls Avenue between the easterly line of relocated Belmont
Avenue extended northerly and the westerly line of
University Avenue extended northerly, and also
McKinley Street adjoining Lots 15 and 16 Auditor ' s
Falls Ave. and Mullan Ave. Plat, and also
Bluff Street from the easterly line of W. Mullan Avenue
to the westerly line of W. 1st Street, and also
Bluff Street from the easterly line of W. 1st Street to
the westerly line of W. 2nd Street, and also
W. 2nd Street from the southerly line of Bluff Street
to the northerly line of Washington Street, and also
W. 7th Street from the southerly line of Bluff Street
to the northerly line of Washington Street, and also
W. 8th Street from the southerly line of Bluff Street
to the northerly line of Washington Street.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
