RESOLUTION NO. 1990-361
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
H H . NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF
0 o REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED EAST OF GREENHILL ROAD
AND TO THE REAR OF GRACE CHAPEL CHURCH AS JUNE 25,
H 1990, AT 7: 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
• WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 25th day of June, 1990, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey real
property generally located east of Greenhill Road, and to the
rear of Grace Chapel Church owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
to James L. and Fawn M. Buckner, and legally described as
follows:
All that part of Lot 37, Auditor' s Whitney Road Plat, in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying within the
following described boundary.
Beginning at a point on the south line of said Lot 37 ,
which point is 291. 0 feet west of the southeast corner
of said Lot 37 ; thence north parallel with the east
line of said Lot 37 a distance of 172 . 0 feet; thence
southwesterly to a point which is 361. 0 feet normally
distant west of the east line of said Lot 37 and 90. 0
feet normally distant north of the south line of said
Lot 37, thence southwesterly to a point on the south
line of said Lot 37, which point is 250. 0 feet east of
the southwest corner of said Lot 37; thence east to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
Containing approximately 11,540 . 0 sq. ft.
for $3,000. 00, plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
