RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN QUIT
CLAIM DEED TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Catherine E. Engelkes, the owner of property
located at 326 West Ninth Street, desires to convey said
property to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally described
as follows:
Southwest 30 feet of Lots 9 and 10, in Block 45, in
the Original Plat, on the West Side of the Cedar River,
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Quit Claim Deed for the
above described property to convey the same to the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, all of which is situated in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, is hereby accepted and
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to
execute all instruments necessary to consummate the
agreement to purchase the property from the owner thereof ,
and the deeds for conveyance of the same are also accepted
and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for
the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the
sale from City funds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of May, 1990 .
