T WHEREAS, Ramada Hotel has proposed that the Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a request for temporary
placement of signs on City right-of-way generally located at
Washington and Eleventh Streets, either Washington and Ninth
Streets or Bluff and Ninth Streets, either Washington and
Fifth Streets or Bluff and Fifth Streets, and West Fifth and
South Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Ramada Hotel
for temporary placement of signs on City right-of-way
generally located at Washington and Eleventh Streets, either
Washington and Ninth Streets or Bluff and Ninth Streets,
either Washington and Fifth Streets or Bluff and Fifth
Streets and West Fifth and South Streets, be and the same is
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ramada Hotel holds the City
of Waterloo harmless from any and all situations that may be
created due to the placement of signs on City right-of-way.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1990, and
approved by the Mayor on this 23rd day of May, 1990 .
