SCHULTZ COMPANY AND ARLENE EILERS AS JUNE 11, 1990, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN c H • X. 0c CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND H H tri INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows: Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the llth day of June, 1990 , for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and convey a portion of Litchfield Avenue owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to B. Schultz Company and legally described as follows: A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14 , Township 89, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. in Black Hawk County described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 10 Block 2 Litchfield First Addition, thence West along the North line of said lot 68 . 2 ' , thence North 14. 5 ' thence East 68. 2 ' along a line parallel to the North line of Lot 10 Block 2 Litchfield First Addition, thence South 14. 5 ' to the point of beginning, all in the city of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, subject to the City' s retention of a permanent utility easement over, under and above the Northerly 1 . 5 feet of said parcel, for $257 . 80, plus costs; and to vacate, sell and convey to Arlene E. Eilers a portion of Litchfield Avenue, legally described as follows: A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 89, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. in Black Hawk County described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 10 Block 2 Litchfield First Addition, thence North 14 . 5 ' along the westerly line of Columbia Street extended to the point of beginning, thence continuing north 14. 5 ' on the last described course, thence west 68. 2 ' along the North right-of-way of Litchfield Avenue, thence south 14. 5 ' , thence east 68 . 2 ' along a line that is parallel to the North line of Lot 10 Block 2 Litchfield First Addition to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, subject to the City' s retention of a permanent utility easement over, under and above the entire parcel, for $257 . 80, plus costs. Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
