' WHEREAS, Waterloo Downtown Council has proposed that
the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a request
for temporary placement of signs on City right-of-way
generally located at Hawthorne Avenue and Washington Street,
LaPorte Road and Hawthorne Avenue, West Eleventh and
Washington Streets, and Jefferson and West Eleventh Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Waterloo
Downtown Council for temporary placement of signs on City
right-of-way generally located at Hawthorne Avenue and
Washington Street, LaPorte Road and Hawthorne Avenue, West
Eleventh and Washington Streets, and Jefferson and West
Eleventh Streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Waterloo Downtown Council
holds the City of Waterloo harmless from any and all
situations that may be created due to the placement of signs
on City right-of-way.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1990, and
approved by the Mayor on this 23rd day of May, 1990 .
