RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO SECTION 569 , OF
ORDINANCE NO. 2644, AS AMENDED, TRAFFIC ORDINANCE
(TRUCK EMBARGO ON ANSBOROUGH AVENUE FROM SAN
MARNAN DRIVE TO SERGEANT ROAD) .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, has adopted an Ordinance embargoing truck traffic on
Ansborough Avenue from San Marnan Drive to Sergeant Road,
known as Section 569 of Ordinance No. 2664, as amended,
Traffic Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Corporation has requested a
variance to said Ordinance for the purpose of haul routes
during construction of West Ridgeway Avenue Reconstruction
Project, Contract No. 383 , on Ansborough Avenue from San
Marnan Drive to Sergeant Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a variance to Section 569 ,
of Ordinance No. 2644, as amended, Traffic Ordinance, be
granted to Cedar Valley Corporation, as requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1990.
